Dave, clearly you are very much under the misapprehension that ‘all Catholics hate gays’.
For starters, this is a completely ridiculous and invalid comment; as a Catholic myself I certainly do not hate gays. And unless you have met the millions of people in the world who call themselves ‘Catholics’, you simply cannot make such an airy-fairy unjustified and insubstantial claim ‘that all Catholics hate gays. ‘
It is people like you, who are discriminatory and just plain idiotic, that provide fuel for the hate we see too often in this world.
Perhaps in the meantime, it would be safter if you simply didn’t publish anymore drivel that masquerades as a ‘blog’.

People who review this game seem to be missing the big picture. Need for Speed is not a realistic driving simulator it is an arcade racer. So damage will never become an effective factor in the series. Also, in my opinion the sound in this game was executed wonderfully, because the sounds of the exhaust bounce of surrounding objects, and give the full feeling of being outside. I also enjoy the wide variety of cars and customization presented in the game.

Oh, and regarding your comment saying “this should be the last NFS game”, that is absolutely insulting. Why in Gods name would you want this to be the last need for speed game. We should give them a chance to redeem the series, because they have in the past. Just look at the call of duty series. It got revived, and so can this.

ok… since people who like cake better have no taste and therefore cannot beconvinced that cake is more delicious, lets look at it from a different point of view: which makes a better weapon. If you throw a hot pie at someone, the gooey filling can cause 3rd degree burns all over their face. If you throw a cake at someone, it will just piss them off… then again, giving someone a fruitcake is way worse then just burning their face off.

i’ve got to say something about this
i’m a catholic, and i do not hate gay people
i believe that God created us in so many different ways for us to work together in this community. He probably would like to see how we, as human beings, can learn to forgive and accept those who are different.
i’m really disappointed with a lot of Christians due to their high intolerance for gays. They have as much rights to live this life to the fullest as any other individuals. God does not hate his CREATIONS….. Yes, gays are also His work of art and we shall not judge them because for all I know God lives in each and everyone of us. So for those who hate gays, also hate God. I’m apologizing on behalf of all Catholics and Christians out there who claim that they know God’s way of teaching but actually contradicts it.

Wow… I kow i’m way off on timing here, but the reason why most Catholic priest child molestors are gay is because they’re called “alter boys” – when were they getting the opportunity to molest little girls? I’ve barely ever seen an alter girl (and yes, I’m catholic, so I would have the opportunity). Just to set the record straight, most child molesters are straight (just like most of any group of people are straight – there are just plain way more of you), and really, it has just about zilch to do with the subject matter.

The 1500 number is how many species in which there are *definite observations* of homosexual behavior. I’m sure if someone actually cared to go around to all the millions of species and document separately, many, many more would be found. And, you do realize, there is a vast variety of species on earth that reproduce asexually – how exactly do they fit into your description of “natural”? In any event, in other species, gay or lesbian adults seem to gravitate towards helping with the child care of their straight brethren – so, why exactly, when this seems to be our *purpose*, must we be denied this one great way in which we can contribute to society? Are catholics so against children having loving, 2-parent homes – do they really think it’s so much worse than having no parents (what a statement to make about our struggling single mothers who could really use catholics’ support)… Hello, have you ever met gay parents? Go walk around Park Slope sometime – so protective, so almost overly caring, attentive, and frankly *capable* of supporting children due to their generally higher income… god those kids are so spoiled, I could only wish I had been that lucky. Can’t let the orphans have that lest they have something other than their belief to cling to – you might just lose them to the comfortable blanket of security we would provide.

But no, the real problem is we catholics don’t think. We’re told what to believe, and that’s that. We embraced this kind of fanatical fundamentalism once in our past – and the reformation resulted. Christ never said the pope was infallible – he certainly didn’t say Peter was infallible, and he never gave power to any popes or cardinals – that idea came way later. remember, otherwise the fundamentalists would have to be catholic, right? Only God is infallible, and he made me just like he made you.

And he’ll make my adopted kids someday too.
